Electric Welding Machine For Automotive Battery

This electric welder completes the thru-the partition intercell connection welds of automobile battery of one-piece cover, having either high-grade hard rubber or plastic container.
Sequence of Operation
After the battery pass the hole punch and element insertion stations, the operator put the battery into the roller table, then adjust the position of battery and the height of the electrode to get the exact welding position. The operator activates a foot switch which caused the electrodes to move downward, weld the thru-the partition connection, and then retract upward to their original position. The operator then manually positions the battery to subsequent weld locations and energized the electrode operating as in the case of the first weld. After all weld points have been completed, the operator can deliver the proceeding battery for subsequent testing and cover sealing.
